HALL OF FAME MEMBER
He is known as JAG 24/7 and is a member of the Nueces County Commissioners Court in Texas, representing Precinct 2. He assumed office in 2011. His current term ends on December 31, 2026. He was previously Previous County Judge. To counteract the local dropout rate in Nueces County He founded “Education Is Our Freedom Scholarship Program” (EIOF) to encourage students to stay in school or complete their GED if they did not finish school.
