LOUISE HANSON WHITSON

Accomplishments at Roy Miller: Peradus Y-Teens 1962 to 1964; Buc Band 1962 to 1964; Student Council 1963

Louise graduated from Roy Miller with the Class of 1964.  She wanted to become a nurse to help people but mostly she liked the new born babies.  She enrolled in the LVN program at Del Mar Technical School in the Fall after graduation in 1964. She earned an LVN Degree from Del Mar Technical Institute, Corpus Christi, TX in 1966; She later earned a Degree in Nursing from Excelsior College, followed later by a degree from Regents External Degree Program USNY; Louise is a Registered Nurse in the State.

Louise worked at a local hospital where she was able to care for new born babies in the prenatal and nursery units, a job she loved, for a time she was also an EMT.  Director of Nursing at Menard Manor Nursing Home.  Louise is retired and lives with her husband in Menard, TX.

LOUISE WAS DESTINED TO HAVE THE LIFE SHE DREAMED OF
