Welcome to the Roy Miller High School Fabulous 60’s Hall of Fame. This site was created to recognize and preserve the accomplishments, service, and memories of Roy Miller High School graduates from the 1960’s. In addition to this Hall of Fame site, I also help manage the Roy Miller HS Fabulous 60’s Association Facebook Group where classmates gather to share photographs, stories, and memories from our school days. Our community celebrates alumni through activities such as the Buc Gem Awards and the Fabulous 60’s Hall of Honor, recognizing the lives and contributions of Roy Miller graduates. This project is dedicated to preserving the history, friendships, and Buccaneer spirit of the Fabulous 60’s generation. And as Mister Buccaneer would say — the Alma Mater moves fast… so hold tight, Matey! ⚓

TRIBUTE POSTED ON THE WALL OF FACES BY SOMEONE WHO KNEW PFC LOYDE "HARRY" SIMPSON

Harry I was honored to call you "Friend"

You and I did not like the "cemetery" at Hoc Mountain from day 1.  Sometimes you get that premonition.  I watched you from the time we got together, you always were cool and never complained as much as the other "wolves".  You were a great kid! I miss you!  I think of you and the others every day of my life.  The war took much from you, not in vain.  I have just contacted Phil Artebury after 30 yrs, we remembered you affectionately as well as Doc Taggart, Garcia, Lt. Damron, Hillbilly, Gonzalez, and all the others in our crew that went down, either with us all together or at different times.  I salute you Harry, I shall remember you, your name, your smile, I shall tell people about you whenever I am allowed, this will keep POSTED ON 3.14.2001 POSTED BY: All surviving "Wolfhounds"

This Brave Soldier was a "Wolfhound" C1/27 Inf,25th Infantry Div.

"Nec Aspera Terrant"

Respect and Remembrance!! your memory alive as long as I live.

Rest in Peace my brother! Until we "saddle up again" Roc
