LIBRARY CLUB
HALL OF HELPING HANDS
📚 Remember Being a Library Aide?
For many of us, the school library was more than just a room full of books — it was a second home. Checking books in and out, keeping the shelves organized, and helping the librarian were all part of the daily routine. We took pride in helping make the library a welcoming place for everyone.
One of the best parts? Rolling the projector down the hallway and setting it up in classrooms. That familiar hum of the machine meant an educational film… and sometimes even a movie! Teachers could relax for a moment, and students knew something special was about to begin.
Library aides were often book lovers at heart, happy to be surrounded by stories and knowledge. The role taught responsibility, organization, and teamwork, while helping support the school in a meaningful way.
Looking back, those library days remain a fond memory for many of us — quiet moments, shared laughs, and a sense of belonging that still brings a smile today.
